The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) registration process for the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2024 is concluding today, March 28. Interested candidates can apply on the official website – ssc.gov.in. Reportedly the online fee payment can be done till tomorrow March 29, 2024, and the correction window will be opened from March 30 to March 31.
Notably, the registration process began on March 4, 2024. As per the official notification, the commission is set to examine to recruit for 4,187 positions in Delhi Police and CAPF SI. Out of the total posts filled through this process, 186 are for the Delhi Police (125 Male and 61 Female), and the rest 4001 posts are for CAPF SI.
The Computer Based Examination (CBT) is scheduled for May 9, 10 and 13.
Delhi Police and CAPF SI 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Applicants may apply for the recruitment procedure if they hold a bachelor”s degree from an accredited university or its equivalent. Those, who have taken their Bachelor”s degree or an equivalent exam may also apply, however, they should become eligible before August 1, 2024.
The applicant must be in the age group of 20 to 25 years to apply for the vacancies. The candidates from the reserved categories will be given upper-age relaxation.
The application fee for the recruitment exam is Rs 100 for Male candidates. Women candidates and those belonging to Schedule Castes (SC), Schedule Tribes (ST), and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from the application fee.
To apply for the position a candidate must be a citizen of India, Nepal, and Bhutan. Citizens of Nepal and Bhutan must produce a certificate of eligibility by the government of India.
