Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB) is set to fill 1,499 vacancies in various departments starting today. Interested and eligible candidates can register for the upcoming posts via the DSSSB official website – dsssb.delhi.gov.in. The last date for the application is April 17, 2024.
Reportedly, DSSSB invites applications for the posts of postgraduate teacher (PGT), assistant sanitary inspector, stenographer grade D, and others. Out of the total vacancies 849 posts are reserved for OBC, SC, ST, and EWS categories. The candidates will be selected based on the scores obtained in the written examination. For some of the vacancies, an interview and typing test will be conducted.
Candidates aged between 18 to 32 years are eligible to apply for the given vacancies with relaxation given to certain categories. To fill out the application form candidates are required to pay a registration fee of Rs 100, while candidates from SC, ST, and OBC categories are exempted from paying any fee.
The exam date has not been announced yet and candidates are advised to check the official website from time to time to get the dates and to download the admit cards.
Notably, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has also initiated the registration process for the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2024. Interested candidates can apply on the official website – ssc.gov.in till March 28. Following that, candidates will have from March 30 to March 31 to make changes to their application forms.
As per the official notification, the commission is set to examine to recruit for 4,187 positions in Delhi Police and CAPF SI. Out of the total posts filled through this process, 186 are for the Delhi Police (125 Male and 61 Female), and the rest 4001 posts are for CAPF SI. The Computer Based Examination (CBT) is scheduled for May 9, 10 and 13.
