SSC Cancels Exams At Centres Amid Glitches; Candidates Slam Mismanagement
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the Computer Based Test (CBT) examination held at various centres due to technical glitches at exam centres. Reportedly, the Phase XIII/2025/Selection Post-exam in both shifts at Educasa International, Hubli, and Pawan Ganga Educational Centre 2 has been postponed.
As per the SSC, the exam will be rescheduled and the new date will be shared with the aspirants soon. The exam from July 25 to 31 at the Educasa International, Hubballi, is cancelled due to technical/administrative reasons, SSC informed.

Appearing candidates hold a protest in front of the examination centres and raise slogans against the SSC over mismanagement of the examination and causing undue trouble to those who covered miles to sit for the exam.
As per the candidates’ accounts, the systems and the mouse at the centre were not working properly. Candidates were not allotted seats as per the students’ preferences. Also, the admit cards of students were not showing any information even one or two days before the examination.

Similar protests were held by the candidates at various locations against SSC, including Bhopal and Allahabad. Candidates are demanding to take over the responsibility from private vendors to any government agency to hold the exam due to the increasing level of mismanagement and corruption charges against the vendor company Eduquity.
Eduquity, a vendor reportedly declared ineligible earlier in 2020 by the Central Directorate of Training after the exam-related irregularities, was given the contract to hold the SSC exam in the CBT mode. Candidates are questioning the negligence on the part of the government for not giving due consideration to the plight of those facing troubles after the postponement of the exam.
The selection commission has asked candidates to regularly visit the websites – ssc.gov.in and ssckkr.kar.nic.in for further exam-related updates.
