Uttar Pradesh: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is expected to announce the police constable exam 2024 this week. However, CM Yogi Adityanath recently announced that the results of all the exams will be released by the end of October. The result will be accessible via the official website – uppbpb.gov.in.
The examination which aims to fill 60,244 vacancies was held on August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31 across 1,174 centres in 67 districts. A total of 48,17,315 candidates participated including 6,30,481 candidates from other states.
Those who qualify for the written test will appear for the next round which is the Physical Endurance Test (PET). For PET candidates need to carry only a valid identity card, e-admit card, and passport-sized photos. The physical test is tentatively to be held in November or December 2024.

The UP Police constable cutoff is determined based on various factors including the number of vacancies, the number of candidates who appeared, the level of difficulty, and the overall performance of candidates.
UP Police exam has reserved vacancies for the categories such as SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates. There are a total of 36,142 vacancies available for the reserved categories.
In case of a tie, the preference will be given to candidates possessing preferential qualifications. If the tie did not break, candidates with a higher age will be preferred. If tie still persists, preference will be determined based on the alphabetical order of the candidates names as mentioned in their High School Certificate.
