
"We Want To Make Children Scientists Instead Of Traditional Mullahs And Maulvis": Yogi Adityanath In UP Assembly
The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has once again raised the issue of modern education instead of giving only religious and linguistic knowledge. A few days back the UP CM criticized the opposition for its alleged emphasis on Urdu language and attempt to keep Muslims out of the development.

Today, the UP Chief Minister shared a video clip on the social media platform ‘X’ while speaking in the UP Legislative Assembly, Yogi said, “We want to make children scientists instead of making them traditional mullahs and maulvis… The culture of dogmatism will not work…”

“We want to make them APJ Abdul Kalam. There is the provision of free education in schools. The double-engine government is providing money for education. However, the culture of dogmatism will not work”, he said. “There will not be any discrimination against Muslim students. Government is working towards providing good and quality education without any discrimination”, he added.
“Those who want to be Mulla and Malvi can go to that. However, to make doctor, engineer, mathematician, and academician, the government is looking forward”, the UP CM stated.
