
'Will You Make Children Maulvis By Teaching Them Urdu...?' - CM Yogi In UP Assembly
The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath targeted the opposition parties by calling them to block the constructive works of the government. CM Adiyanath was addressing the house during the budget session in UP today. While targeting the opposition parties in the assembly on the promotion of local languages, the UP CM appreciated his government’s efforts to promote the local dialects.

Yogi Adityanath accused the opposition of obstructing every good action taken by the ruling government and said, “You will oppose every act which is in the favor of the state and the country. We should criticize such opposition and appreciate the recognition given to the UP dialects…. Samajwadi Party has opposed the initiative.” “They will send their children to study in English schools and will send others children to study Urdu and make them ‘Maulvis’ and ‘KathMullas,'” he added.

CM said that this House is not purely of literary and grammar scholars, members from different sections of society have come here in this House, so that the voice of the last rung person gets a voice in the House, if he is unable to speak Hindi then he can speak Awadhi, Bundelkhandi, Bhojpuri, whichever he is capable of.

The question of negligence of the Urdu language has been highlighted from time to time, and the BJP government ruling states’ actions have been called upon by the opposition and the Muslim community. A similar issue also emerged in Rajasthan, where an official order asking a school to replace the Urdu posts with Sanskrit posts was surfaced.
