UP Police handled Students protesting UPPSC‘s Exam plans heavily and lathi-charged students protesting UPPSC’s new exam schedule. Thousands of the candidates demand PCS Preliminary exam and RO/ARO exams be held on the same day. Protesters opposed UPPSC’s decision to split exams across separate dates in December.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced the Combined State/Senior Subordinate Service (prelims) Examination 2024 schedule of December 7 and 8, 2024. The exam will be held in 41 districts in two shits and in two sessions: the first session will be held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and the second session will be held from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. A total of 5,75,154 candidates are registered for the PCS preliminary exam. Also the normalization formula was made public. Candidate’s marks and cut-off will be in the percentile scores.

Also, UPPSC published the dates of Review Officer-Assistant Review Officer recruitment on December 22 and 23, 2024.
