New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) in its notification dated March 7, 2024, has notified about the postponement of the State Services Preliminary Examination due to be held on March 17, 2024.

The Commission informed that the examination has been postponed for indispensable reasons and is expected to be held in July. However, no dates have been suggested by the commission to conduct the examination. The date of the examination will be announced later, the notification said.

UPPSC announced recruitment notification for 220 administrative vacancies and nearly 5, 75, 000 candidates registered for the Prelims examination. UPPSC was likely to conduct the preliminary examination on March 17 2024 and the examination was supposed to be conducted in two shifts. The first shift exam is to be conducted from 9.30 am to 11.30 am and the second shift exam is to be conducted from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.

Earlier UPPSC also cancelled the UPPSC Samiksha Adhikari/Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari RO/ARO exam.

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board or UPPRPB has also announced that the UP police constable recruitment exam held on February 17 and 18 has been cancelled.
