Arya Rajendran is the youngest serving mayor of India. She was elected from Mudavanmugal ward, belonging to Nemom Assembly Constituency from Communist Party of India (Marxist) at the age of 21.
Arya Rajendran is married to Sachin Dev who currently serves as the youngest MLA in 15th Kerala legislative Assembly. He is the MLA from Balussery constituency.
Arya and Sachin Dev welcomed their baby girl on August 10 at SAT hospital in Thiruvananthapuram and named her Dua Dev.
Arya and Sachin have already shared their decision to never to step away from their responsibilities entrusted to them even after their marriage. And it seems Arya decided to stick onto her promise even after her first child.
Arya married Sachin Dev on September 4, 2022 at Thiruvananthapuram AKG Hall. The event was bestowed with the presence of political party leaders including Chief minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan and CPI(M) Secretary MV Govindan. Sachin and Arya have known each other while working together at Balasangham, the CPM’s children’s organisation wing, and its youth wing, SFI.
