Muvattupuzha: Niramala College in Ernakulam‘s Muvattupuzha plans a unique way to welcome Christmas this year. With the installation of a giant star, 55 feet long and 30 feet wide, the college is setting innovative Christmas vibes.
The star is made with the presence and involvement of each and every person in Nirmala College; it includes the photographs of the 3000 students from the college, teachers and all the staff.

The star has been placed at the main block of the college. Another unique factor of this huge star is it has been constructed without plastics or using any raw materials that are harmful to the environment. This eco-friendly initiative aligned with the Green Campus status of the college.
It took a month to complete the star and was installed using a crane. This is the first time such a massive star has been placed in the college and the initiative has been entirely supervised by college management.
The college principal Fr. Dr. Jestin K. Kuriakose, said that the star was made with the concept that the Nirmala college is “Super” and it will make “all students stars”.

The star has already attracted the attention of everyone and students are excitedly pictures, and making reels for social media.
