'Not A Suicide': Action Council Alleges Sabotage Attempt In BDS Student Nithin Raj Death, Declares Statewide Harthal

Kannur, Kerala: The Action Council for Within Rag has declared Harthal in Kerala on April 28 demanding justice for deceased dental student Nithin Raj of Anjrakkandi Kannur Medical College. Alleging fuel play and sabotage attempt, the Action Council has called for a statewide strike.

The action council was formed combining over 50 Dal it organisations, and the group has alleged suspicion in Nithin RaJ’s death, stating that the student’s death was not a suicide.

Sunny M Kapicadu, a Dal it writer-activist from Kottayam, pointed out that there are no blood stains found on the ground where Nithin Raj allegedly fell from the fourth floor of a building. The activist added that there were no serious injuries to the body that would typically result from such a fall.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Kapicadu said these factors raise doubts about the unnatural death of the BDS student. The council further accused college authorities of spreading lies and false narratives while trying to distort the case.
