'Violent Threat, Insult': BDS Student Nithin Died After Relentless Harassment By Faculty Members, Alleges Family

Kannur, Kerala: A new audio clip has surfaced online, which is reported to the final message from the diseased first-year BDS student at Kanpur Dental College, R L Nithin Raj. Nithin allegedly died after falling from the college building on Saturday, April 11.

The distressing audio clip reveals that the accused faculty members allegedly abused the dental student, a native of Thiruvananthapuram,  mocked his mother. The clip describes how a teacher mocked his mother and issued violent threats.

The recording surfaced online shortly after his family alleged relentless harassment by faculty members, which they say led him to take the extreme step. The viral clip is heard the dental student, talking about his faculty members, causing immense distress to Nithin, who said he was even mocked in the staff room.

The body of Nithin has reached home, with parents and relatives being in shock and extreme agony. Nithin’s mother, sister and other family members have urged the government to take strict actions against all responsible for the tragic demise of the student.

The authorities have reportedly suspended two teaching staff following the allegations of harassment.
