A young sportswoman from Pathanamthitta, Kerala has come forward with a heart-wrenching account of being systematically sexually exploited by over 64 individuals, including her coaches, teammates, and acquaintances since she was just 13 years old.
The case came to light when the survivor confided in her classmates during a counselling session at school. The school authorities immediately informed the police, who launched an investigation into the case.
Now, according to the police, the victim’s diary contains detailed accounts of the abuse, including the names and phone numbers of the perpetrators. The diary has been seized by the police and is being used as evidence in the case. The girl wrote that they have been abusing her since 2019.
She alleges that her friend deceived her with false promises of marriage, manipulating her into accompanying him to various locations where she was repeatedly raped and coerced into taking explicit photos.

The perpetrator then used these images and videos to blackmail her, exploiting her further. Shockingly, the survivor’s diary contains a list of 34 individuals implicated in the abuse, revealing a disturbing web of exploitation.
The survivor, a sports enthusiast was allegedly abused by her coaches, teammates, compatriots, and acquaintances, who took advantage of her vulnerability. The abuse continued for over five years, with the perpetrators threatening to release her nude photos and videos if she spoke out.
So far, 20 people have been arrested in connection with the case and several others are being questioned by the police. The police have also seized the mobile phones of the accused to retrieve evidence.
The victim’s family has alleged that the police were initially reluctant to register a case, but eventually relented after they approached the District Collector.

The state government has assured that the case will be investigated thoroughly and the guilty will be brought to justice.
The Pathanamthitta District Collector has ordered a special investigation team to probe the case, and the police have been directed to take immediate action against the perpetrators.
Also, The Kerala government has announced plans to set up a special cell to investigate cases of sexual abuse and exploitation. The cell will be headed by a senior police officer and will have a team of experts to investigate such cases. The government has also announced plans to provide counselling and support to victims of sexual abuse and exploitation.
