Summer Rain, Thunderstorm Likely In Next Five Days: Central Weather Forecasting Agency
The Central Meteorological Department has predicted that the summer rain is likely to reach Kerala in next five days, with light rain and thunderstorm expected across all districts.
The rain will lash out across all parts of Kerala on Saturday, March 28, the central weather forecasting agency said. Isolated rain with thundershowers and strong winds gusting to 30 to 40 kmph are likely, the prediction added.

The agency has said that there is a possibility of light rain and thundershowers from March 30 to April 1, 2026. It noted that there is a possibility of moderate rain with thundershowers and strong winds with a speed of up to 40 kmph at isolated places in Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad and Kannur districts of Kerala in the next 3 hours.
