There have been several such instances where minors and sometimes adults were involved in strange but shockingly dangerous stunt including near the railway tracks.
Earlier this year, near Talupali, close to Purunapani station, a boy laid flat between the rails while a speeding train thundered over him, while one of his friends recorded the entire episode for reels.
After the train passed and the boy emerged unharmed, the group erupted in cheers, filming his dramatic rise from the tracks and taking victory photos—clearly thrilled by the close brush with death. The footage, which was later uploaded online caught widespread attention, with authorities taking action against those involved.
