Kochi, Kerala: Actress Lakshmi Menon will be questioned in connection with the alleged abduction and assault of an IT employee in Kochi. Three accused, along with the actress, have been booked by the police based on a complaint filed by the techie, but reports indicate that the actress is currently absconding.

The incident related to the case reportedly began with an argument between the complainant’s friend and the actress’s gang at the Velocity Bar on Banerjee Road on Sunday night (August 24).

Following this, the actress’s gang chased the complainant’s car and blocked them on the Ernakulam North railway overbridge. Continuing the argument, the accused forcibly dragged the complainant into their car and fled.

“They assaulted, threatened and verbally abused him in the car until they dropped him off at Vedimara junction in Paravur around midnight on Monday. We immediately picked him up from there, and based on his complaint, we later arrested three of the accused,” North Police sources told Onmanorama.

According to police reports, the actress’s house is locked, her phone is currently switched off, and she is on the run. The police are attempting to locate and arrest her. The three arrested persons are identified as Mithun, Aneesh and Sonamol.
