Actress Neha Sharma Campaigns In Bhagalpur For Father And Congress Candidate Ajeet Sharma (image-X/ajeetsharmainc)Actress Neha Sharma joined her father, Ajeet Sharma, in a roadshow held in Pirpainti and Kahalgaon in Bihar’s Bhagalpur district as part of the election campaign. Congress candidate Ajeet Sharma is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from the Bhagalpur constituency.
Sharing the photos from the roadshow, the Congress MLA expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Pirpainti and Kahalgaon “for giving so much love and respect to their daughter.” He added, “I heartily thank all the residents of the area for attending the road show in large numbers. I will always be grateful to the people of Bhagalpur Lok Sabha constituency for this love and support.”

Bollywood actor Neha Sharma too posted a video thanking the large crowd gathered to meet the father-daughter duo. She captioned, “They say when someone gives you a place in their heart, you live there forever. My heart is full from all the love and support you have given me. Previously, there were speculations of the actor stepping into politics as the candidate from Bhagalpur constituency on the Congress ticket. The Congress MLA had stated that if the party got Bhagalpur, then he would want his daughter to contest. However, he added that he was willing to contest elections if the party wanted to.
The Bhagalpur Lok Sabha constituency comprises the Vidhan Sabhas of Bihpur, Gopalpur, Pirpainti (SC reserved), Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur, and Nathnagar. Sharma is pitted against Janata Dal (United) candidate and sitting MP Ajay Kumar Mandal as the NDA nominee.
