In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is planning to visit almost all major states at least once before the beginning of February. Sources told The Economic Times that as Prime Minister would make two visits to larger states he would visit some of the smaller states once.
He has already began the tour with visit to southern states including Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep and Kerala previous week. Besides, PM Modi has also visited Rajasthan last Friday. During the visit, he attended the DGP and IGP conference in Jaipur, and appeared at a meeting of the newly elected BJP MLAs and senior leaders at the Jaipur”s party office. The upcoming visit is scheduling for a roadshow or a public meeting of the Prime Minister.
PM Modi is currently visiting Gujarat for two days. On January 10, he will inaugurate the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit. The theme of the summit is ‘Gateway to the Future’ and its objective is to celebrate “20 Years of Vibrant Gujarat as the Summit of Success”. On January 9, Prime Minister had a meeting with top CEOs and business leaders.
On January 12, Prime Minister is planning to reach Maharashtra to inaugurate the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link in Navi Mumbai. On the same day, he is likely to inaugurate the National Youth Festival in Nashik. Sources also reveal about a roadshow PM Modi is expected to undertake. Even though a visit to Dhanbad, Jharkhand and Bettiah, Bihar has been planned for January 13, sources hint that it might get delayed.
On January 22, as per the plans, Prime Minister will be in Ayodhya for the Ram Temple ceremony.
