Gujarati Man Returns After Being Declared Dead, Walks Into Prayer Meet Held For Him.

Mehsana, Gujarat: A 43-year-old man in Gujarat’s Mehsana walked into his own prayer meeting on Thursday which left his family and the police stunned.

Brijesh Suthar had gone missing from his home in Naroda on October 27 and his family had been searching for him everywhere. When they couldn’t find him, they filed a missing person’s complaint with the police.

Two weeks later, on November 10, a decomposed body was found near the Sabarmati bridge and Brijesh’s relatives were called to identify it. Although the body was swollen, they presumed it was him due to the similar physique.

The family was under the impression that Brijesh had taken his own life due to mental health issues and financial stress. They even performed his last rites and organised a prayer meeting to remember him. But just as the ceremony was underway, Brijesh walked in, alive and well.

His mother recalled the ordeal, saying they had looked everywhere for him, but his phone was switched off and they misidentified the body shown to them by the police.

The sudden reappearance of Brijesh has created a huge complication for the police, who are now investigating whose body was cremated. The family is struggling to come to terms with the bizarre turn of events, and it’s still unclear where Brijesh was during his disappearance.

A relative revealed that Brijesh had been battling depression, but no one knows what happened to him during those two weeks.

The police are now faced with the task of identifying the cremated body and figuring out what really happened. Brijesh’s family is trying to process their emotions, having gone from grieving his loss to being reunited with him.
