Lenskart Is Looking For 25 Acres Of Land For Mega Factory

Peyush Bansal, CEO and the co-founder of Lenskart, announced today that his company is looking for plot in Bengaluru to start a mega factory.

Lenskart, currently headquartered at Haryana’s Gurigram, is looking for 25 acres of plot within 60 km radius of Bengaluru’s Kempagowda International Airport.

“Lenskart is looking for 25 acres of land within 60 kms of Kempegowda Bengaluru International Airport to build its next Mega Factory. If any company is looking to sell factory land near the Bengaluru airport, please send an email to: megafactory@lenskart.in,” Mr Bansal wrote on LinkedIn.

Karnataka’ Industry and Commerce minister MB Patil was quick to respond. He told Mr Bansal that the concerned official will reach out to the entrepreneur immediately.

”Karnataka is the place to be! @peyushbansal @Lenskart_com Industries Department is here to support you, and facilitate all your needs. Concerned officials will reach out, immediately,” Mr Patil wrote on Twitter along with a screenshot of Mr Bansal’s LinkedIn post.

In interview to ET Prime in last November, Mr Peyush said that his company has made it to the profit zone in the financial year 2023, from a loss of Rs 100 crore in FY22. Lenskart recorded a profit of Rs 260 crore in FY23 as revenue more than doubled to Rs 3,780 crore.
