Reigning world champion and Tokyo 2020 gold medallist Neeraj Chopra will look to leave a mark ahead of the Paris 2024 at the Diamond League 2024 on May 10. Asian Games silver medallist Kishore Jena will also represent India in the 10-man javelin field in Doha.
The Indian representatives will face a tough field which includes former World Champion Anderson Peters, and Olympic silver medalists Jakub Vadlejch, and Julius Yego. Meanwhile, Johannes Vetter who has been struggling with ailments for the last three years did not make it to the roster.
All eyes will be on Chopra who won the Diamond League last year and will be competing again in the event after securing a gold medal at the Asian Games in Hangzhou.
