Conor Gallagher came off the bench to score a last-minute winner as Chelsea edged to a 3-2 victory over Leeds United in the fifth round of the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues bounced back from their EFL Cup final loss at Wembley Stadium last Sunday against Liverpool, to book a quarter-final spot with Leicester City, who beat them in the 2021 FA Cup final.
Mateo Joseph struck twice for Leeds, including the opener, but Chelsea hit back through Nicolas Jackson and Mykhailo Mudryk, before Gallagher settled the tie.
In the evening’s other fixtures, Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers earned 1-0 wins over Nottingham Forest and Brighton & Hove Albion respectively.
Meanwhile, Liverpool kept their quadruple hopes alive with a comfortable 3-0 home success over Southampton to set up a huge quarter-final meeting with Man Utd.
Several Matchweek 29 fixtures have been postponed due to quarter-final ties being played on the weekend of 16-17 March. Chelsea’s trip to Arsenal, Man Utd’s home clash with Sheffield United, Wolves’ meeting with AFC Bournemouth and the Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool will all now be rescheduled.

There are two all-Premier League match-ups in the last eight of the competition as holders Manchester City host Newcastle United while Liverpool travel to Man Utd. Wolves take on Coventry City, while Chelsea welcome Leicester. All ties are to be played across the weekend of 16-17 March
