Shreyas Iyer might be struggling to score big but he is making it count on the field. Iyer pulled off a sensational run out on Day 4 to dismiss Ben Stokes and mimicked the England captain with his finger celebration. England wicketkeeper-batter Ben Foakes edged a fuller delivery from Ashwin in the 53rd over towards the square leg as Iyer picked up the ball from mid-wicket to throw it one-handed at the stumps. The review showed that Stokes was narrowly short of the crease as he looked to complete the run casually.

Iyer was pumped on dismissing the match-winning English batter and precisely celebrated in the same manner as Stokes did after taking his backward running catch in the second innings. Cricket fans on social media were quick to take note of the celebration and shared their thoughts on X.

The England captain was dismissed on 11 runs off 29 deliveries when he was sent packing. The dismissal brought an end to the last standing England batting pair for 26 runs. It was game, set and match for Team India after the breakthrough as the visitors had tailenders Tom Hartley, Shoaib Bashir and James Anderson to follow in the batting line-up.

England won the first Test in Hyderabad by 28 runs. India are on the verge of levelling the series in Vizag with the third of five-match Test series, slated to get underway at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot from February 15.
