Veteran fast bowler Jaydev Unadkat made his 100th appearance in the Indian Premier League (IPL) memorable with his bowling performance in the match between SunRisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on Thursday.

Unadkat dismissed half-centurions Rajat Patidar and Virat Kohli, following it up with the scalp of Mahipal Lomror. He finished his four-over spell with the returns of 4/30, the best for a SRH bowler in the match.

“Jaydev Unadkat in his 100th IPL match. 3 for 30 from 4 overs against RCB batting unit – wickets of Kohli, Patidar & Lomror. A day to remember for Unadkat,” one of the fan commented.

Unadkat was bought by SRH for INR.1.60 crore at the IPL 2024 auction. He went wicketless in his last appearance in the ongoing season against RCB but returned to deliver his best performance against the same franchise.

The 32-year-old has scalped 98 wickets in 100 matches in the lucrative tournament. The veteran has a best bowling figure of 5/25 and an average of 31.58.
