The Kalinga Super Cup 2024 is slated to get underway from January 9. The inaugural contest will see East Bengal locking horns with Hyderabad FC, followed by the match between Mohun Bagan Super Giant and I-League 1 on the same day.
Holders Odisha FC will begin their campaign on January 12 against the runners-up Bengaluru FC in a replay of the grand finale from the previous edition. The tournament will take place on two different pitches at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, including the main pitch and the stadium pitch 1.
The group stage of the Kalinga Super Cup 2024 is scheduled to run from January 9 to 22, with the semi-finals on January 24 and 25. The final will take place at the Kalinga Stadium Main Pitch on January 28.

Kalinga Super Cup 2024 Format
The Kalinga Super Cup 2024 will feature sixteen teams vying for the silverware, with the winners earning a place in the ACL 2 Preliminary Stage of the AFC 2024-25. These sixteen teams include 12 from the Indian Super League (ISL) and four teams from the I-League. The top three ranked I-League teams after December 24 have confirmed their respective slots in the first three groups while the I-League 4 spot will be determined through a playoff between the fourth and fifth placed teams on January 8.Each qualified team will feature in single-leg group stage matches, with the winners of the respective groups heading to the semi-finals.
- Group A: Mohun Bagan SG, East Bengal FC, Hyderabad FC, I-League 1
- Group B: Kerala Blasters FC, NorthEast United FC, Jamshedpur FC, I-League 2
- Group C: Mumbai City FC, Chennaiyin FC, Punjab FC, I-League 3
