‘’Play with passion’’, Kannur squad on Sunday released their edited poster with morphed images of Indian national players from the ICC Men’s World Cup team in the place of actor Mammootty and his co-actors. The team behind the Malayalam movie Kannur Squad, which hit a box-office collection of Rs 50 crore within 9 days of its theatrical release, is now wishing team India as the ‘’Indian Squad’’ foreseeing their ‘’spirit’’ and ‘’unity’’ on the pitch.

The flyer was posted from the official social media handles of Mammootty Kampany, the production owned by veteran Malayalam film actor and producer Mammootty. It replaced the Mammootty Kampany logo with ICC World Cup 2023 symbol and renamed the movie title to ‘India Squad’ from ‘Kannur Squad’.

India is confronting Australia today on pitch, and the match begun 2pm in the afternoon at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Expectations are high as the dynamic Indian captain is in his exceptional form and is forecasted to repeat the staggering run hunt in his previous 2019 outing in which he scored a spectacular five century.

The movie, a thrilling investigative saga in which Mammootty leads his team of brilliant and efficient Kerala police officers in multiple cases, most are extremely dangerous, and effort taken. The movie features Rony David Raj, Shabareesh Varma, and Azees Nedumangad as the members of the Kannur Squad unit who works on crimes and earns credible and outstanding outputs by solving cases within a short span of time despite obstacles.

The recent poster dedicated to Indian team displays Rohit Sharma, the captain, replacing actor Mammootty. He was the man in form for India in 2019 World Cup. In the position of Rony David Raj, Mammootty Kampany placed left-hand all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. Actor Azees Nedumangad was replaced by former captain Virat Kohli while all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin is seen for Shabareesh Varma.

We”re cheering for you all the way!🙌💙”, the makers of the movie captioned the poster.
