'Manukaamna Poori Hui': Amul Pays Tribute To Manu Bhaker After Historic Paris 2024 Performance

Manu Bhaker will enter the Indian sporting books as a legend after she became the first to clinch multiple medals at an Olympics. After clinching a bronze medal in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle event, she clinched another bronze in the mixed 10m Air Pistol event along with her teammate Sarabjot Singh.

Soon after the historic achievement from Bhaker, the largest dairy product manufacturer in India, Amul, were quick to pay tribute to the young shooter in their style. The topical advertisement featured a cartoon of Bhaker which shows her holding a bronze medal in one hand and gesturing a victory symbol on the other.

“#Amul Topical: Indian shooter wins historic bronze at Paris Olympics!,” Amul said on X.

“Well, I feel great. And it was a long-due medal for India. I was just merely mode to do it. And India deserves more, even more medals, as many as possible. So we are looking forward to as many events as possible this time. And the entire team has worked really hard and personally, for me, the feeling is really surreal. I feel that I did a good job. I put in a lot of effort and even until the last one, I was just fighting with all energy that I had. And, um, this was a bronze. But I’m really grateful that I could win a bronze for India, maybe better next time,” Bhaker said after her Women’s 10m Air Rifle event win.

However, the 22-year-old still has one event left as she will vie for a third medal at the Paris 2024 in the Women’s 25m Pistol Event on Friday.
