An emotional Shah Rukh Khan hugged his daughter Suhana and AbRam before his elder son Aryan made a cameo appearance after Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday to lift the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 title.
In the video going viral on social media, the Bollywood superstar was seen sharing a warm-up with Suhana. His daughter asked, “Are you happy, Dad?,” which was followed with a heartfelt group hug with the three children.
Soon after the clip went viral on social media, a fan said, “How this man managed a superhero life and as a father and husband is really inspirational for all,” while another cricket enthusiast said, “This is his real wealth.” An Instagrammer quipped, “It takes a great father to raise good and loving children.”

In the IPL 2024 final, SRH fell like a pack of cards as KKR bowlers Mitchell Starc (2/14), Harshit Rana (2/24) and Andre Russell (3/19) ran through their batting line-up to bundle them out to 113 runs. It was, incidentally, the lowest total recorded in an IPL final beating the previous lowest total recorded by CSK at 125/9 against MI in the IPL 2013 final.
In response, KKR opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz (39) and Venkatesh Iyer (52 not out) played key knocks to guide their side over the line in 10.3 overs. Soon after the victory, netizens took to X to congratulate the franchise on ending the campaign on a high.
