Bollywood actor Salman Khan attended Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) President Amol Kale’s funeral on Wednesday. He passed away after suffering a heart attack in New York on Monday.
Khan attended the funeral along with Sonu Sood and Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde. He arrived at the funeral venue amid tight security and was seen having a chat with Kale’s close-aids.
As per reports, Khan reached the venue amid tight security after the firing incident took place at his residence in Bandra on April 14. Several accused have been arrested since the attack.

Incidentally, Kale was present at the Nassau International Cricket Stadium to witness the blockbuster T20 World Cup 2024 clash between India and Pakistan. He was present at the venue along with the MCA office bearers. MCA secretary Ajinkya Naik and Apex Council member Suraj Samat were present along with him at the venue.
Kale, 47, was elected as the MCA President in 2022. He defeated former India batter Sandeep Patil for the top post. The MCA President hailed from Nagpur and was a close associate of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
