As per the actor’s hint, the teaser of the film is expected to release on May 20, coinciding with Jr. NTR’s birthday. War 2, the upcoming sequel to the YRF spy thriller franchise, is expected to hit theatres this August 2025.

While the first installment of the spy thriller was made on a budget of Rs 170 crore, War 2 is expected to have a budget of around Rs 200 crore, as per reports. The film will continue to focus on Hrithik Roshan’s character, Major Kabir Dhaliwal, as he embarks on a new mission.
Adding to the excitement, reports also claim that the film will see a cameo appearance by Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Moreover, the film will also mark Jr NTR’s Hindi cinema debut.
