Big Boss winner and stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui surprised one and all with his cricketing skills as he dismissed legend Sachin Tendulkar in a match of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) on Wednesday. The moment left his fans in awe as he gave them another reason to admire him.
Faruqui dismissed Tendulkar in the match which took place at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane. He was the unexpected hero of the opening match after Tendulkar attempted a shot toward fine leg to his outside off-stump delivery but mistimed it and was caught by Naman Ojha at the gully. The spectators and his teammates erupted in excitement as Faruqui achieved the remarkable feat in the 5th over of the match.

Tendulkar, the core committee member of the ISPL 2024, opened the batting with J&K para cricket team captain Amir Hussain Lone.
Incidentally, Faruqui did not stop there as he also displayed his fielding prowess. Faruqui took a catch in the seventh over to dismiss Yusuf Pathan off the bowling of actor Prateik Babbar.
Pathan contributed 21 runs to the total of Master”s 11 which reached 95 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 10 overs. Despite the early breakthrough, the Master”s 11 displayed their fighting ability and clinched the match.
