The highly-anticipated Coldplay concert tickets for India sold out like hot cakes leaving many fans disappointed that they remained in queue for several hours. However, there’s a second chance to score tickets as BookMyShow Live announced a limited number of Infinity Tickets for the Mumbai shows, scheduled to go on sale on November 22, 2024.

These special tickets offer a unique experience with a surprise seating arrangement that will only be revealed on the day of the event. The Infinity Tickets are priced at Rs 2000 per ticket and they must be purchased in pairs with a maximum limit of two tickets per buyer. The seats can be located anywhere in the venue from the floor to the upper levels.

Meanwhile, BookMyShow’s website and app crashed on Sunday (today) and the ticket sale was supposed to go live at noon but was delayed due to technical issues. The website and app were inaccessible for about 18 minutes which frustrated many users and some users faced issues booking tickets on the app as well. It was said that those who tried to book tickets have been added to the queue and confronted technical issues while completing the process.

However, after an initial technical hiccup, the BookMyShow app stabilised and began confirming ticket reservations. Meanwhile, social media was flooded with humorous updates from eager fans sharing their experiences about which number they stood in line to grab the tickets. Users and Coldplay fans stated that they were in the queue like a hornet waiting for rain.

Additionally, Coldplay announced that they have been prompted to add an extra Mumbai date on January 21, 2025, at DY Patil Stadium on account of the unprecedented demand. Tickets for the new date went on sale at 2 PM but fans snapped them up quickly leading to a sell-out.

Coldplay’s India tour will feature two concerts on January 18 and 19, 2025, at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The band promises an unforgettable experience with mesmerizing lights, pyrotechnics, and larger-than-life performances. The setlist will include songs from their Album of the Year-nominated Music Of The Spheres, new singles like “We Pray” and  and iconic hits like “Yellow,” “The Scientist,” “Clocks,” “Fix You,” “Viva La Vida,” “Paradise,” “A Sky Full Of Stars,” and “Adventure Of A Lifetime.”
