Google’s Gemini Live Now Speaks Hindi, Launches First On Samsung Galaxy S25 Phones.
Google’s AI chatbot, Gemini Live, is now available in Hindi. For now, this feature is only on the new Samsung Galaxy S25 phones (releasing February 4) and will later expand to other Android and Pixel devices. Users must update the Gemini app to chat with the AI in Hindi.
Gemini Live is a voice-based AI chatbot that helps users with various tasks and until now, it was only available in English in India.
According to TM Roh, president and head of MX Business at Samsung Electronics, Gemini Live will be available in Korean, English, and Hindi.
How can you access Gemini Live in Hindi?
Users need to update the Gemini app to the latest version, and then they can converse with the chatbot in Hindi directly from the app. This feature will also roll out to eligible Pixel and other Android smartphones in the coming days.
Galaxy S25 series buyers are also entitled to a complimentary six-month subscription to the Google One AI Premium Plan.
This plan provides access to the latest Gemini models, 2 TB of cloud storage, deeper Gemini integration across Google and Samsung apps, advanced image editing capabilities via Google Photos, and more. This plan normally costs Rs 1,950 per month, so it’s a great deal for Samsung users.

When it comes to other Android phones, talking to Gemini Live is a breeze. With Gemini Live, you can have a natural conversation with Gemini in up to 2 languages.
You can even interrupt it to add more details or change the topic. This feature allows you to talk back and forth with Gemini without typing, brainstorm ideas out loud, explore topics that interest you, and even practice aloud for important moments.

To get started with Gemini Live, you will need an Android phone or tablet, the Gemini mobile app or Gemini as your mobile assistant, and a personal Google Account.
You will also need to be 18 or over. Note that Gemini Live is not available in the Gemini web app or Gemini in Google messages, and the Gemini mobile app doesn’t support Farsi. Additionally, Gemini Live is not available in Chinese (Hong Kong).
