Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses are setting up its video duration up to 3 minutes. Users will be able to record videos with their Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses with an increased duration over the previous video limit of 60 seconds, According to the reports.
This increased record limit is not turned on by default, but the users have to change it by popping into the settings in the companion app on the camera section and manually changing the duration. Along with that, the glasses will consume more energy and users have to dig into their charging cases frequently when they set a time limit to three minutes.

The new update for the smart glasses was announced in the month of May on a Meta Blog Post. As per the update, the smart glass will allow users to enhance their mood and improve mindfulness accessing through a user command. It further supports the Calm App, and can be used by saying “Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses.”
Additionally, Users can also stream their favourite songs via Amazon Music which bestows an opportunity to rest the phone for a while and listen to music through their smart glasses. The update would also help users to share stories on Instagram through voice commands.
Meta unveiled three new styles for its smart glasses, Skyler in Shiny Black with Transitions Cerulean Blue Lenses, Headliner Low Bridge Fit in Shiny Balck with Polar G15 Lenses and Chalky Gray with Gradient Cinnamon Pink Lenses, which will be available in 15 countries including the US, Australia and Canada.

Meta removed the “Ray-Ban Stories” name and unwrapped the second generation of Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses in September 2023, featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 processor, camera upgrade to 12MP, improved audio, Facebook, Instagram live streaming and Meta AI collaborating with EssilorLuxottica.
