Like other Samsung products, the cute little “Galaxy Ring” has grabbed customers’ eyes as it was showcased earlier this year in February at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona. Now the tech site Android Authority company has revealed new health-tracking features of Galaxy Ring including menstrual cycle tracking for women.

The company also enable health-related features like stress tracking, skin temperature readings and heart rate monitoring. When it was unveiled earlier this year they revealed that the price might be a bit expensive and will cost between $300-$350 (approx. Rs 25,000-28,000), but it will cost around 35,000 in India.

The shape of the ring is indeed concave and tapers in the middle which is available in three colours, ceramic black, platinum silver and gold. The major health-tracking feature is that the ring will detect signs of sleep apnea (transient cessation of respiration). It also supports ECG functionality and blood flow measurement.

Apart from these health tracking, the Galaxy Ring could detect detailed analysis of users’ snoring which records its pattern. The user has to install Samsung’s health tracking app to record the snoring and heavy breathing variations. This was already available in the Galaxy Watch but now it will function on the Galaxy Ring too.

The South Korean brand Samsung has announced the pre-reservations of the upcoming sixth-generation Galaxy Z foldable phones, Galaxy Smart Watches and Galaxy Ring. The “Unpacked” event of Samsung’s  Galaxy is scheduled for July 10 and ahead of the biggest happening, anyone can pre-order the products but the Galaxy Ring is not currently available in the Indian market for pre-reservation.

Samsung will announce the launch of Galaxy Ring in the Indian market anticipated to be in August. For other Samsung products company offers a wide range of Galaxy products that benefit customers through its upgrade and the pre-reservations can be done through the company’s official website and via Flipkart, Amazon or directly through retail stores. However, the pre-booking will only be available for those who purchase a VIP pass of Rs 1,999 and the confirmation will be sent to your registered mobile number.
