West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday fiercely attacked PM Modi hours after he criticised the TMC-led government in the State. Banerjee condemned PM Modi and state leaders in the party for politicising ‘Operation Sindoor,’ and hit back at their comments to launch ‘Operation Bengal’ as a follow-up exercise.
Addressing the controversy around ‘Operation Sindoor,’ the Bengal Chief Minister said: “Please remember, every woman has respect. They take sindoor only from their husbands. But PM Modi, you are not the husband of everybody.”
