Huawei has launched its first ever foldable laptop – the Huawei MateBook Fold Ultimate. Even though it possesses an 18-inch display, it is lightweight and portable, weighing just 1.16kg. The sleek laptop folds at a 90-degree angle to form a 13-inch upper screen, with a virtual keyboard to give a traditional laptop experience. For those who prefer a physical keyboard, Huawei has included a wireless 5mm-thin keyboard made of aluminium alloy. It offers 1.5mm key travel and weighs just 290g.

With the MateBook, Huawei is launching its in-house operating system, HarmonyOS 5, for PC. The device is available for pre-orders in China, where it will go on sale by June 6; however, there is no information about the device’s availability in India. The price of the MateBook starts at approximately Rs 2,85,000.
