Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai on Wednesday posted a video on X condemning the massive explosion that ripped the Gaza hospital apart, killing over 500 people including children.
She said in the video message posted, “I’m horrified to see the bombing of Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza and unequivocally condemn it”.

She also urged the Israeli government to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza and reiterate the call for a ceasefire. She also donated $300k (Rs 2.5 crore) to three charities helping Palestinian people under attack.
She then reminded in her video that half of Gaza’s population is under 18 years old and collective punishment is not an answer. She asked everyone who have watched the video to donate to organisations providing humanitarian aid. The Noble laurate called upon all the governments to pursue an immediate ceasefire and work towards lasting peace.
At least 500 people were killed in the strike on Gaza’s Al Ahli hospital on Tuesday. Israel attributed it to be misfired rocket launched by Islamic Jihadi group. The mass killing has resulted in widespread international condemnation and protests at Israeli embassies in several countries.
While the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group denied Israel’s claim that it was behind the deadly blast and accused Israel of “trying hard to evade responsibility for the brutal massacre it committed.”
Gaza has been besieged since October 7 after Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel killing 1,400 people. Palestinian death toll has reached 3,478 and 12,065 injuries since October 7 incident, as per the report of Gaza’s Health Ministry.
