"Catastrophe": Body Of Islamic Countries Warn Against Israel’s Rafah Plans
Amid escalating tensions in the Gaza Strip, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has issued a stern condemnation of Israel“s intentions to launch military operations in Rafah City. The OIC expressed grave concern over the Israeli government”s statements regarding military aggression and plans to expand into Rafah, where over 1.3 million displaced Palestinians reside in dire conditions.
In a strongly worded statement, the OIC denounced Israel”s actions as part of a broader strategy to forcibly displace the Palestinian people from their land, equating such measures with genocide. The organization warned of the potential for a humanitarian catastrophe and a collective massacre should Israel proceed with its military aggression and expansion plans in Rafah.
Reiterating its call for immediate action, the OIC urged the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to intervene and halt Israeli aggression. The organization emphasized the need for the unconditional delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and called for international protection for the Palestinian people.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the statements of the Israeli occupation government to continue military aggression and its plans to expand to Rafah City, south of the #Gaza Strip, where more than 1.3 million displaced persons are sheltering in tough conditions.
The OIC strongly warned that the continuation and expansion of the Israeli military aggression is part of rejected attempts to forcibly expel the Palestinian people from their land, stressing that such acts fall under genocide and would lead to a humanitarian catastrophe and collective massacre.
The OIC renewed its call to the international community, in particular the Security Council, to assume its responsibility towards immediate and total cessation of the Israeli aggression, ensuring adequate and unconditional delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and providing international protection for the Palestinian people.
