Dubai Crown Prince Meets Indian Cricket Team, Presented With 'Dubai 11' Jersey
Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan met with the Indian team during his two-day official visit to India. Indian cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma, along with other star Indian cricketers including Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav, met with the Dubai prince. The high-profile meeting marked a significant moment in strengthening cricketing ties between India and the UAE.
The players have taken off from their Premier League duties with Mumbai Indians to participate in the meeting. The Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC), Jay Shah, was also present at the interaction held on the sidelines of the Dubai-India Business Forum in India’s financial capital.

Moreover, as a token of love, Sheikh Hamdan was presented with a Team India jersey named ‘Dubai 11’. The Dubai prince had also shared the photo from the meeting on his Instagram handle, titled, “Team India Ke Saath Ek Yaadgaar Mulakaat”.

Meanwhile, the triad of Rohit, Suryakumar and Hardik are currently playing for Mumbai Indians in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. Rohit and Hardik were a crucial part of the Champions Trophy 2025, which saw India emerge champions. The team had remained unbeatable throughout the tournament.

Dubai Crown Prince arrived in New Delhi on his first official visit on Tuesday. The visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between the UAE and India and exploring opportunities for enhanced cooperation between the two countries.
