Fact-Check: Did Iran's Military Capture US Marines During Failed Landing Attempt On Kharg Island?
Tehran, Iran: Iran’s IRGC has reported capturing a number of US Marines during an attempt to land on Kharg Island. ‘A number of U.S. Marines were captured on the Iranian island of Kharg during a failed landing attempt and the capture was carried out successfully,’ the Iranian military spokesperson said.
However, certain US-based media have dismissed the IRGC’s claim, stating it to be propaganda. Notably, there is no credible evidence from the US, Iranian, or independent sources confirming any US ground landing, amphibious assault, or capture of American personnel on Kharg Island.
GAME CHANGER: The IRGC confirms that a number of U.S. Marine terrorist invaders have been captured. More to follow.
This is in addition to the delta forces previously captured. Kosher media will not cover this story. Trump will lie about it. https://t.co/7gOUa47OHy pic.twitter.com/he9OXKH2k9
