At Least 12 US Troops Wounded In Iranian Strike On Prince ‌Sultan Air Base In ‌Saudi Arabia

Washington DC: At least 12 US ​troops were wounded in an Iranian military attack on Prince ‌Sultan Air Base in ‌Saudi Arabia on Friday, March 27, Reuters reported quoting a US official.

Two of the injured are in critical condition. So far, around 300 US service members have been injured, and another thirteen troops have been killed in the conflict with Iran.

During the attack on Friday, multiple US refueling aircraft. The attack allegedly took place when the soldiers were inside a building on the base. At least one missile, and several unmanned aerial vehicles struck the base, causing casualties.

As per a report by Wall Street Journal, at least five refueling aircrafts were damaged during the attack. Billions of dollars of military equipment have been destroyed or damages since the start of US-Israeli attack against Iran and Tehran’s retaliation.

After the US and Israel started coordinated attacks across Iran on February 28, Tehran has kept up retaliatory attacks serving as a launchpad for US  strikes on the country. Iran has been targeting US military bases across the region.
