Saudi Arabia has officially announced that Sunday 30, 2025 as the first day of Eid ul Fitr, after the Shawwal crescent moon was sighted on Saturday. However, Oman will celebrate Eid on Monday 31, 2025.

The moon-sighting committee convened after Maghrib prayers and verified the sighting of the moon, marking the end of the Ramadan after 29 days of fasting. This is viewed as the Islamic tradition of determining the start of new month through lunar observation.
