Karim Benzema Send "Prayers" For Gaza. Receives Verbal Abuse From Israeli Footballer

Karim Benzema pronounces his support for Gaza on his social media account. Taking to X (formerly twitter), the footballer wrote that all prayers are with the people of Gaza “who are once again victims of these unjust bombings which spare no women or children”.

The veteran French striker has won men’s Ballon d’Or in 2022. He joined Al-Ittihad, a Saudi Arabian football club. Before that Mr. Benzema played for Real Madrid from which he left in June.

The football legend’s response did not sit well with, Dudu Aouate, former Israel goalkeeper and abused Mr. Benzema in five different languages. Quoting Benzema’s post from X (formerly twitter), Mr. Aouate wrote that “you are a big son of b***h”. He wrote the same phrase in five different language; Hebrew, French, English, Arabic and Spanish.

X limited the Israeli footballer”s tweet from reposting as it violate the platform”s rule against “hateful conduct”.

Meanwhile, deadly Israel-Palestine war has claimed life of more than 1,400 Israelis and the death toll on Gaza war reached 2,750 with more than half comprising of children and women. More than 10,000 Palestinians are heavily wounded and was taken to hospitals which are facing an acute shortage of supplies. At the early stage of the escalation, Israel has blocked electricity and water supply to Gaza Strip and blocked the Rafah crossing to Egypt preventing the supplies of the basic necessities to the war-torned Gaza.
