Strait Of Hormuz Transit Fee To Be Paid In Iranian Currency: Iran Parliament

Tehran, Iran: Iran is all set to to impose transit fees for shipps in the crucial Strait Of Hormuz water way. On Friday, the head of Iran’s Parliament National Security Mission said that the transit fees through the Strait Of Hormuz would be paid in Iran’s national currency.

The fees would be paid in Iran’s rial, as per the parliamentary proposal of the country, said an X post by Iran’s consulate general in Mumbai on Friday.
