Strait Of Hormuz Will Be Managed By Tehran: Iran Rejects Pre-War Status In Switzerland Talk

Tehran, Iran: Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that the Strait of Hormuz will be fully managed by Iran in compliance with international law and will not return to pre-war status after talks with the United States in Bürgenstock, Switzerland.

During the talk Iran walked out of the hall over the US resident Donald Trump’s alleged bomb threat and rejections of nuclear inspection claims. However, the talks concluded with progress on nuclear issues and sanctions.

Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Araghchi traveled to Oman to finalise arrangements with Sultan Haitham, as the strait passes through Iranian and Omani waters.
