Indian Crew Killed, Several Injured As Iranian Strike Hits UAE Tanker In Strait Of Hormuz
An Iranian strike at two UAE shipping tankers in the Strait of Hormuz has killed at least one Indian crew and injured several others on Tuesday, July 14, the UAE Ministry of Defence informed.
The Iranian cruise missiles targeted two UAE tankers, Mombasa and Al Bahiyah, while passing through the southern shipping lane of the Strait of Hormuz within Omani territorial waters.

The Indian crew member who was abord the the ship lost his life, Eight others in the ship are in serious condition, the ministry said. The injured include six Indian nationals and two Ukrainian nationals. UAE AE strongly condemned the missile strike, describing it as a serious violation of international law and asserting that it reserves the right to respond.
Iran started attacking ships that crosses the Strait of Hurmuz after the US broke the ceasefire deal, re-launching offensive across Iran. Iran also started retaliation targeting US bases in the region and attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz, while the US claims to guard the crucial shipping lane for international trade and oil supply.
