"We Know Khamenei's Location, Won't Kill Him .. (Now)": Trump Threatens Iran

The war between Israel and Iran continues to escalate, with both sides vowing to use maximum pressure on their enemy following days of violence triggered by Israel’s aerial offensive on June 13. Following a year-long shadow war and brewing regional tensions, Israel bombarded Iran, hitting key nuclear and military sites and assassinating top figures. Iran has since fired numerous ballistic missiles, causing extensive damage in major Israeli cities.

The US had earlier said that it has nothing to do with Israel’s unilateral attacks on Iran; however has now given a big statement on social media X after the war escalates to a new level on its fourth day. American President while warning to Iran against protection of civilians and American soldiers said, “We know exactly where the so-called “Supreme Leader” is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now”.

In another tweet, the US President said to have complete and total control of the skies over Iran. “Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment and plenty of it, but it doesn’t compare to American-made, conceived, and manufactured stuff”, wrote Trump on X.

Israel’s main reason to go to war with Iran is over its nuclear programme. Tehran and Washington had been engaged in negotiations before the war started in a bid to reach an agreement, but the talks derailed on the issue of uranium enrichment.

However, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has repeatedly denied that his country sought to create a nuclear bomb, arguing that it goes against their Islamic beliefs. The country was enriching uranium at 60 percent, not far from the 90 percent weapons-grade level needed to create a nuclear warhead.
