Iran Issues ‘Hit List’ Of Gulf Bridges After US-Israel Strike On Key Tehran Link
Tensions in the Middle East have sharply escalated after Iran released a list of major regional bridges it claims could be targeted in retaliation for recent US-Israeli airstrikes. The move comes after a key infrastructure project near Tehran was severely damaged.
According to reports, the strikes partially destroyed the B1 bridge, a massive structure under construction near the city of Karaj. The bridge, considered one of the tallest in the region, was intended to improve connectivity between Tehran and western Iran.
Local officials confirmed casualties, with several people killed and dozens injured.

The escalation follows strong warnings from former US President Donald Trump, who stated that Iran could face further devastation if it does not agree to negotiations. Visuals circulating online show sections of the bridge collapsing after the attack, highlighting the scale of the damage.
In response, Iranian media outlets published a list of potential targets across Gulf nations and Jordan.
These include prominent structures such as the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Sea Bridge in Kuwait, the King Fahd Causeway connecting Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, and several bridges in the United Arab Emirates.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi condemned the attack, stating that targeting civilian infrastructure would not weaken Iran’s resolve. Instead, he described it as a sign of desperation by its adversaries.
The conflict, which has been ongoing for weeks, has already resulted in significant casualties and rising instability across the region. Analysts warn that targeting critical infrastructure like bridges could disrupt trade and civilian life, potentially widening the conflict further.
