Iran Arrests At Least 50 People For Allegedly Sharing Locations, Information With US, Israel
Tehran, Iran: Iran has arrested at least 50 people for allegedly collaborating with the United States and Israel amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia. The authorities have alleged that the individuals have shared locations and other crucial information with the enemy, Iranian news agency SNN reported.
Officials have reportedly seized electronics, satellite equipment and weapons from the accused persons, who shared sensitive details regarding key locations, service facilities and infrastructure during the conflict.

However, officials did not specify the timeline of the alleged espionage activity or identify the foreign entities involved. Iranian authorities previously reported around 500 detentions on espionage-related charges since the war began on February 28, alongside dozens of additional arrests in separate cases in connection with espionage.
The development follows the failure of US-Iran talks in Islamabad after about 21 hours of negotiations, with both sides citing disagreements over key issues. While the US said Iran did not recognise their terms, Tehran has clarified that the US demanded what it could not achieve through war and the terms and conditions are excessive.
